4th of July the way it should be

Had a very nice 4th of July holiday. Weather cooperated all day, that is, sunny, mild warm temps. Did some swimming in the community pool in our neighborhood. Took family to a friend's place on Gun Lake and hung out some more in the sun and water. Had a nice holiday-type dinner: hotdogs on the grill, baked beans, watermelon...only was missing corn on the cob. Got home, did some fireworks with the family and our new neighbors. It was definitely a full day of family and holiday activities...simple yet fulfilling. Good time had by all.
